Prior to the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) bidders process, Stockton Borough Council commissioned a full buildings condition survey (via civil/structural consultants – Billinghurst George & Partners) including structure, fabric and mechanical/electrical building services systems and included recommended replacement/upgrades as appropriate including a full breakdown of the associated budget costs.
The information was then utilised in the BSF bidding process as the two example schools that the initial bid process was to focus on.
