Opening of Southern Office and changes at Board Level :
BES CONSULTING ENGINEERS LIMITED
OPENS SOUTHERN OFFICE
Despite the current economic downturn, County Durham based mechanical and electrical engineering consultants - BES Consulting Engineers Limited, established some 18 years ago, due to their continued success and geographical expansion of their client/project portfolio, have taken the decision to expand their operation into the south of the country with the opening of their new office in Slough (UK South).
This expansion has coincided with some changes at board level, Dave Gandhum joins the practice from Scott Wilson as a director and will manage the Southern office. Dave comes with an excellent reputation as a respected building services engineer/manager and an extensive reputation of successful project delivery and satisfied clients both in the UK and overseas, with particular experience in healthcare/hospitals and the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme.
David Jestin, a director with the firm for the past 11 years, will become a consultant to the practice. David's continued association will be valuable to the business going forward.
Michael Poulton (Director) continues in his role as technical director responsible for project delivery coupled with his new additional operational duties in the Newton Aycliffe office, ably supported by the management team of Ian McKay, Stephen Robinson, Judith Wellington and the engineering and support staff.
Derek Griffiths (Managing Director) will take on a more strategic role working with both Michael and Dave to continue to develop/establish the County Durham and Slough offices respectively.
BES is set to build on its success and excellent reputation in the Northern office with delivery of projects both locally and nationally for the likes of De Vere Hotels & Leisure, University of Newcastle, national and local Housing Associations, Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust and Primary Care Trusts whilst developing new and existing client relationships from its new UK South base.
Derek Griffiths commented "These are exciting times for BES as we look to continue to expand and develop the business over the coming years."
