Due for a major refurbishment

BES commissioned by Harlow International via Thompson Cole International Project Managers to undertake an extensive survey and RIBA Stage C Report in respect of mechanical and electrical services, as a briefing document to facilitate an approximate $50m extensive refurbishment of this iconic 500 bedroom hotel in readiness to host a major international conference in 2011.

UPDATE

The Directors wish to congratulate Stephen Robinson on his promotion from Principal to Associate Mechanical Engineer. Stephen has been with the practice for a number of years working his way up through the ranks since joining as a Senior Engineer in 2006.

BES has completed its first commission in the Middle East, being involved in the preliminary survey and report stage in respect of the major refurbishment of the Al Rasheed Hotel in Baghdad's International Zone. The Middle East is a region that BES have a number of contacts and is a market we are actively pursuing.

CONGRATULATIONS

Ben Battram (Assistant Mechanical Engineer) on receiving Student of the Year Award for the National Certificate in Building Services at Hartlepool College.

To both Stephen Robinson and Derek Griffiths's wife, Shirley, who both produced personal best times for the Great North Run, raising funds for St Clair's Hospice and the Stroke Association respectively.
